Virat Kohli, one of the world’s most celebrated cricketers, has officially ended his long-standing association with Cornerstone, a sports management agency, to embark on a new journey with his fresh venture, Sporting Beyond.
Virat Kohli, the cricketing superstar, has announced the formation of a new management team to oversee his business interests and personal ventures. After ending his long-standing association with Cornerstone, Kohli is taking a more hands-on approach to managing his expanding portfolio, which includes investments in various sectors such as fitness, fashion, and technology. He has described this shift as a “new chapter” in his career, signaling a more direct role in the direction of his business endeavors.
Kohli, who has always been known for his strong personality both on and off the field, has developed a brand that goes far beyond cricket. Over the years, he has built a massive global following, not just as a cricketer but as a businessman and philanthropist. From launching his own clothing brand, Wrogn, to investing in health and wellness startups, Kohli’s diverse ventures have steadily grown into a multifaceted empire.
Kohli on Instagram revealed that he has been working with ‘Sporting Beyond,’ for quite some time and the company would handle all of his business interests in the future.
“I am excited to announce a fresh start with Sporting Beyond, my new team, who have been working with me for a while now.”, said Virat Kohli in a statement released on his official Instagram handle.
“The team at Sporting Beyond shares my goals and my values of transparency, integrity and a love for sport, in all its forms. This opens a new chapter for me as I look forward to my partnership with my new team, who will be working with me on all of my business interests,” he added.
One interesting aspect of Sporting Beyond is that as per online records, the former India Head Coach, Ravi Shastri who worked with Kohli on the national side, is one of the directors of the company.
Earlier, it was reported that Kohli had ended his partnership with Cornerstone, founded by Bunty Sajdeh.
